Hello all. I have an Asus F9S.
I know I can buy a spare, but I was wondering if there is a battery available for the notebook where I can just slide into the CD/DVD drive bay. I need to go overseas and I wish to have more battery life, but the battery that this notebook comes with just wont cut it. Are there any options?
Can I buy just any battery that fits into the CD/DVD Drive bay and have it work?

    Thanks

I think this will be best answered in the Asus section. ill notify the mod to move it

Im pretty sure they are model specific for the 'optical bay drive' batterys (if your model even supports it)

Asus F9 notebook does not support modular battery that goes into the ODD bay. The only battery option is the 6-cell (primary).
