Hi, I currently own a XPS 630i Desktop computer with a nVidia 9800GT graphics card not even a year old bought from BestBuy. I want to sell it to get a gaming laptop so that i can go to my friends house, take it to school, and just play in other places other then the room with the desk lol. I was looking at bestbuy.com and came accross these Asus computers. I have never heard of Asus before but they seem to be good from what i read.

My question is will World of Warcraft run on Highest settings with this laptop?

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834220416

    And other games?

How long will Asus last me?

Is their customer service good? at newegg and Asus?

    Thanks..

Well thanks for an answer. All i really do is play World of Warcraft on it and want it to last long. I don't even put music on my computers anymore cause my girlfriend does all that on hers.

My last laptop was a HP and it worked great till the Graphics card went ( It was nVidia geforce 8600ms ) then the motherboard went next. So Hp is off my list. The Dell XPS desktop is great but takes up a lot of room and has lots of upgrade room which i do not need.

So this Asus would be right for me?

That is not HP's fault really. Many of the Nvidia Geoforce 8600m's have a known manufacturing defect. Of course your problem may have been unrelated but it could have been due to that very same issue. Regarding the motherboard failure, who knows.

You talk about only wanting to play WOW but I bet you will end up playing many other games. On my gaming laptop (Asus G1SN) I have about 55+ different games and expansions installed.

Asus could be right for you especially if you do not reside in the UK because their after care is beyond pathetic whereas in the USA it has been reported as very good.
