    Asus Notebook N80 Vb/Vm series
Intel core 2 Duo T6400 2.00 Ghz 4GB Ram 64 Bit op system

I don't know if you guys know much about gaming or not but I'm looking to upgrade it to the best possible thing for gaming. Nothing too expensive but decent enough.

Graphics cards, processors, etc. Anything you guys know and would like to help me out with I'd appreciate your help.

Here are some N80 disassembly vids from another NBR member, language is NSFW at points so be warned. If you are new these videos are a good place to start to get an idea of what the inside of your machine looks like and how to get at it, etc. You won't be able to upgrade your video card (unless you somehow find one parted out from another laptop - in general you can't buy them separately), so in terms of getting more performance for gaming your options are a new CPU or more RAM.

Hi and welcome to the forums :)

Please fill out the FAQ and post it in the "What Notebook Should I Buy?" forum so we can better understand your notebook needs and preferences.

Many games are bottlenecked by the GPU more than the CPU, so upgrading the CPU may not gain you so much as you expect. Additionally a CPU upgrade is going to void your warranty, so think twice before you go that way.

And as already said, upgrading the GPU is highly improbable.

One possibility is investing in a solid state drive, for faster loading times in games. If your notebook supports more than 4GB of RAM, you may also want to do that -- but perhaps not right now, I am not sure it's worth it with today's games.
