    No Signs of S96S on Asus Web Site

    I was wondering if anyone Else has noticed that there is no Information at all on the Asus website about the S96S and no drivers I say i last checked at the begining of the week I do find the kind of strange I even emailed them and still have not recieved a reply :confused:

    Technically the s96s is not supported by Asus(its built on the Asus Asmobile(barebone line) s96s. Its supported by Intel and/or your reseller since i think the Asus S96s is VBI(verified by intel). Its the same thing with the Asus S96j(previous gen). The z96s and z96j should be on the Asus site.

    yeah they sure did
    my issues is for later driver support and the fact that they do list other barebones but not this one

    all driver support handled by intel. warranty by dealer. asus has nothing to do with it except for the design and manufacturing

    no we are not :D I was hoping to find the pdf Manual for this thing but they dont have it I did not see the bios either hummm..... maybe its just too new

    **Verified I checked the download page for the S96J and there was a bios update there so we are not in fear

    cool, yah it is a very new laptop model, and it is not hyped up like other models.....oh btw did u see that there a VBI models for compals too? the HGL30, HEL80 , and the all new compal IFL90 ---

    yeah i sure did i found this website Intel VBI/CBB Which shows that parts including the Keyboard, the LCD panel, and bateries are supposed to be interchangable between the VBI / CBB Notebooks
