Last time I checked I had a desktop PC :) So please help me refresh my memory.

    Updating my G50v's graphics drivers. I have a Geforce 9700m GT 512MB.

According to the latest download here:
    http://laptopvideo2go.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=23661

It doesnt support my 9700? Is that right? Which one should I get?

    Many thanks

Try it with your 9700M GT, it should work anyway.

Nvidia supports mobile GPU's now. Try their drivers.

Tried 3 different drivers from laptopvideo2go... nothing worked. All difference it made was: When I play a movie, quality is very crappy, looks like small squares (pixelated) all over the movie!!

Will try this INF file as final resort. If this does NOT work, I will have to test my laptop, cable and LCD screen seperately and find out where the problem lies. Thanks for your help so far.

EDIT: OK I have tried enough drivers of laptopvideo2go and nothing worked... downloading from Nvidia site now, 179.48... If this does not work, then definetely something else is wrong! Cant believe Im struggling so much! It must be something faulty somewhere... I cant sleep at night... mohahaha (evil laugh) I have to conquer my problem! <evil laugh> Im starting to go crazy now...

EDIT ADDED: GREAT STILL MY MOVIES LOOK C R @ P..............! Does someone want a free G50V laptop? .....nah Im not giving up yet!

im guessing youre playing the stuff through WMP. see if it happens with other players like Media Player Classic or VLC. it could also be the movie itself thats bad quality.

its also possible that the tv has issues with DHCP, so if possible try with another tv.

HDMI still not working. My movies look pixelated on WMP and VLC player. I know the movies is good quality cause it works on my other Sony XP. Any quick fix to the pixelated video on my laptop?
