Hi All,
I know this isn't notebook related, and I know there's a dedicated desktop forum, but I've really come to appreciate the knowledge and experience everyone in this thread has and I trust all of your opinions, and would like to pose a desktop question to you if you don't mind. If it's an issue, feel free to close/delete the thread, and I apologize in advance if that's the case!
I've got a desktop pc and I'd like to add a TV tuner to it. As expected, I'd like to get the most for my money, with good capture quality and TiVo-like capabilities. I know that some of this will be software-dependent, and if possible please comment on that when providing suggestions. I already have an AGP video card, and would like to add the TV tuner separately. I'll be the first to admit that I don't know my ass from my elbow when it comes to tuners, so any information is greatly appreciated.
Thanks to all in advance!

Are you looking for analog TV or HDTV via the air?
Hauppage makes some nice analog cards (PCI or USB) - they have XP and MCE cards and I think some Linux support.....
For a HDTV card (played with HDTV over the air today..... awesome): THIS CARD is pretty cool
Not Notebook Related, But...
