Are the V6Va and V6j the same laptop design? I.E. will a V6J motherboard be able to fit into a V6Va laptop? Would there be any issues with the ports or switching graphics cards over?
Thanks

Same EXACT chassis.
However, with all due respect, why the hell would you be asking this question? If you are considering buying a V6va, and replacing the motherboard, which would then require you to also replace the cpu, there has to be some reasoning behind it. When you consider a new motherboard and cpu, and the fact that by making the swap you automatically not only don't have a warranty any more, but could damage the chassis while trying to make the swap.......... there isn't much on the up side there.
If you can tell me why you want to do this, I'll guarentee I'll give you a better solution which costs less and takes up less of your time. -

I talked it over with Justin in a PM, thanks for the info. You were in the right ballpark Eddie.
Not another V6V vs. V6J question!?
