This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Bought at BB for 1049, last laptop was $3200 Sager, and while I realize that technology and time marches on, what a deal for the power, IMHO!

    I still have to get a HOTAS so I can run flightsims, but I have every confidence that this will run them fine, save for, maybe, FSX.

    I am almost giddy, LOL!

    Glad you like it. I love mine and I paid the full $1249 for it. Still a fantastic deal for what you get.

    I've been spending all my free time the past week trying to beat it into submission to make it as strong & stable as possible for PS2 emulation. Wish there was a way to unlock the CPU voltage.

    I just ordered one of these today. My last computer had a HD 2400 XT in it. This notebook is going to fly :)

    yeah,...and a bunch of us are having no trouble flashing the 9800m gs to gts speeds =) so there you go....another reason to jump for joy =)
