I am currently having some issues with the notebook 'sleep' on my F8SN-B1. When I go into sleep, and then open again, the smart logon facial recognition camera is not turning on. Also after sleep, MSN (when turned on before sleep) does not work. I have to restart my computer to get it to work. Anyone else experiencing these problems? When trying to turn off my computer, it will be stuck at the shut down window so I have to remove the battery to turn it off completely. Anyone know why this is happening?

    Thanks in advance!

Probably has a lot to do with Asus's security pgm's & their other pgm's on your notebook. From some of your other posts you rely on the security software so removing them is probably not an option. Asus blames it on Vista & Vista blames Asus for the software snafus.

Maybe you can try removing one at a time to see if things get better. If you can id a specific pgm that causes grief then you can look for better drivers or alternative software that works better for your needs & the p/c likes.

Have you done a search to see if there's others here with similar problems ?
