Nothing Happens When I Close The Lid On My Laptop (ASUS N61JQ)? other questions too.

I got my laptop (ASUS N61JQ) back from my extended warranty with ServiceNet.

When I close the lid now, nothing happens. I checked the settings, and it says it is suppose to sleep when I close the Lid. But everything just stays on including the monitor.

Now I know it is not that big of a deal, but is there a way to fix it?

The warranty guys repaired the hinges on the laptop. So I am afraid one of the sensors (that tells if the lid is opened or closed) on the hinge is broken or something?

I am even more afraid if one day I go on, the hinge sensors are tricked to think that the lid is always closed, therefore, I will get no display output. Because right now, it might be tricked to think the laptop lid is always opened. I am afraid it might mess up and be tricked that the lid is always closed.

All my power settings and sleep buttons work. It just does not do anything when I close the lid.

    Should I be worried?

I honestly do not care if the lid does not do anything if I close it. But am I just being paranoid about one day the sensors tricking the laptop and making it as if the lid is always shut?

Also, a couple of other questions:

Can someone look at my final two posts of this thread, and let me know if they can help out regarding these issues?

I just noticed that they messed up the left white LED light on the side of the laptop. It does not ever turn on. Could that be the problem?
