    Now that i have my G51VX what are temps I should watch for?

    As for as GPU and CPU go...

    I started up WoW for a bit and noticed the GPU hitting close to 99c....

    Soon after wow started up the fan kicked on high and it settled around 90c ish...

    Installing CoD:World at War and gonna test that out
    I'm thinking though if temps keep staying that high in games I might try to return this and look else where for a different laptop.

    Which is sad cause I like the look of this one alot... Plus I don't wanna have to wait for return time refund time then finding a new one...

    That's about what mine got under heavy load. It actually cooled down a bit after a week or so of having it - I figure the thermal paste set or something...

    I play COD WaW quite a bit on my A1 and a 90C average is common for me WITH a cooler. I find this particular game heats up the laptop quite easily. Maybe you should think about getting a cooler if you don't have one to protect your notebook.
