does it do what its supposed to do though?
by the way, most asus laptops dont have the scroll lock light indicator anymore, since around 2006~07 -
Yes it still does what it is supposed to do.
Oh I don't mean the light indicator. I mean the small grey rectangle box that will appear at the bottom right of the screen stating "Num lock:ON" after I activate Num lock.

in microsoft word?
-
Did you delete any drivers or pre-installed software?
-
@ silverfern : Nope, globally. In all apps.
@ btaryag: I don't think I did. But I did disable some services recently.. But I don't recall disabling any asus related ones =/ -
It may be a problem with your drivers. You may reinstall your drivers mainly with the ATKPackage which control this normally.
-
How do I find the correct driver to re-install in device manager ?
-
Simply download ATKPackage on the support website of Asus and install it. It will update it or correct it automatically
-
I just clicked repair after installing the ATKpackage.
But the indicator still doesnt appear =/ -
You got only repair option??? Do you get uninstall also?
-
Yup I found the remove option. I removed and reinstalled, but the result is still the same.
Num lock and scroll lock doesn't show indicator anymore .
