After a Lenovo X60s I have now an Asus UL30A and like it very much. With the Lenovo I had an external USB keyboard connected to the docking station. The Lenovo did switch the NumLock automatic to ON for the external an OFF for the internal keyboard.

Is there a way to have it the same way when I connect the external keyboard to my Asus PC?

Usually there is an option in the BIOS for the numlock to be on when starting up.

Thanks for the info. But I am looking for an NumLock automatic switching solution when using the internal keyboard outdoors and the external in the office.
