has anyone tried/bm'd them yet? any good?
Im DLing them now anyway.....to try on my F8SV
-
They look like good performing drivers over at laptopvideo2go.com so good infact I'm temped to try them.
*EDIT* Meh, there alright drivers. Ok gaming performance, I'm still looking for something that would increase my Vista Aero index over 4.8... -
do you think the 169.44 is better?
-
Let me get back to you on that, maybe tomorrow. I havn't done any 3Dmark06, but I'll game a little and then I'll know a bit better.
-
On a clean OS install/clean driver install they gave me 30 pts avg 3dmark06 over 174.16. In COD4 multiplayer, the play is smoother in the sense that fps dips in certain parts are lessened very noticeably. I was suprised after trying so many other drivers.
-
For me, gave a +5-6 FPS for Company of Heroes, OF. Generally better than 169.04.
-
The Forerunner Notebook Virtuoso
It has powermizer issues and such right?
-
-
Installed 174.31 Laptopvideo2go the ASUS ones, and seems to be running perfect. Temps are exactly the same, but it's the most complete and stable version since 169.09 I've used, all the others had minor issues (powermizer), VGA and HDMI out etc.

Is this driver versions are for only asus ?
Actually i am new one ... I have vestel laptop
And have driver problem with Nvidia 8600M GT 512 mb ddr2
Crash and black screen when i force my grafic card

Go to Laptopvideo2go.com and use a modded inf, believe it or not not all 8600M are not build equal.
-
is this drivers good for g1s? if not can someone plz recommend a good driver for me.. thankx in advance
-
Does this driver work with Purevideo HD? Also, anyone know where to download it since the original link is bad.
-
I don't know the answer to the 1st question. As to the second, I believe the guys at laptopvideo2go.com archive all the drivers, you should be able to find this version. But there may be something newer and better, notice that this thread is more than half a year old.
-
Actually, I switched over to vista and my old driver that I had worked fine with Nvidia's PureVideoHD, only 10% CPU with a Blue Ray Rip
Nvidia 8600M GT 174.31 drivers?
