Hi,i have one biG probrem, I have A6JC with gf7300 win vista 32bit ultimate, and all new drivers from asus : acpi, nvidia ...
Everything works fine except one thing.
When i close my notebooks cover, and in vista is set to do nothing - display shut down ,BUT when I open that cover again , it will not turn on , but the system is acting like it is open, so i cant see nothing.
When i choose hybernating or sleep mode after closing cover - than it works fine.

I tried many nvidia drivers, reinstalling vista too, - without chabge.

This function works in XP SP2 correctly.
The problem is in graphic driver, because, after cleen vista instal, when i dont instal any nvidia drivers, display will turn on after cover opening correctly.

So where is problem ? Can you help me ? THX

Can you recommend me any GOOD driver ?
    sorry for my english

Definately a bug in the display driver as Vista has incorporated something new with the display detection. When you close the lid, the device manager would deactivate all displays. I have my laptop on the same setting so I usually hear the device removal sound. I'm guessing that when you reoen your screen the display drivers aren't reactivating. Have you tried using Fn-F8?
