MSI Afterburner works very nice. I max out the Core clock slider and gets 873MHz. The memory I have to stop at +267 or else artifacts start happening. I get 1167MHz memory.

3DMark06 gives me 9000/9100 scores. GPU high temp is 82F. I would like to find a fan control app that works and for free but have not yet. My fans do not run as much as I would like.

Doing just the memory gives a nice boost. Core alone not so much of a boost. Like 200 where as memory more like 1000 by itself.

Windows give 6.6 for Aero and 6.7 for gaming.

A lot of ASUS laptop's don't allow for fan control, but try out SpeedFan, it may work.

I have known speed fan forever. I have never made it able to work. Maybe I don't have whatever we call it. Oh I think we call it balls. But I lack them in so far as I don't know how to use.

Nice results.. kinda proves that the GT620M is bandwidth limited. Can you run 3DMark11 with the mem overclock (stock core clock)?

3dmark 11 will let you run for free and upload as many results, compares are always best linked to and uploaded rather than a screenshot as comparisons can be made far more easily.

Alright guys I have tried your 3DMark11. The raw results, and I admit I have not figured them out. Some do not make sense to me. I tried to run on the HD4000 but as of yet did not work. Also I did not use any fan control app. I did find the "fan control" app as mentioned before. I guess I will learn how to use but at this point it is more of an all fan or no fan. I am sure it is me and not the app.

    So here it is.

Third score is lower? Not sure why or what it means.

Meaker are you paladin? If so what happened with the Vegas desert. You like the highlands?

Hah, no I have taken over forum duties as it were for now from him. He does still visit the forum though.

Like any benchmark the results can vary slightly and especially with the U series CPUs as their turbo speeds can vary a lot (the third test is a CPU one).

A lot of my previous forum work has been in the Acer/MSI/Sager sections, lots of crazy modding :)
