The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

We've been at the top of the post counts for all Notebook Brands, second only to the WNSIB general forums!

I was gonna say this when we pass DELL for threads, but that may take a while :p

    That's very good news indeed.
I've come to the conclusion that when buying stuff, it's not only the quality of a product and it's specs that count, but also the quality of the user base (size of it is also important).
Users can give you information that you would never get from the manufacturer, and they can (sometimes) put pressure on the manufacturer.
    So keep on posting

Until I found ya'll I was very close to deciding to buy a Thinkpad instead. (I was about 60/40 between the Lenovo X-series and the Asus W5). But hearing the positive reactions of people and seeing a strong user base convinced me that Asus was the way to go. I was already an Asus only guy for desktop Mobos but I'm quickly becoming an Asus fanatic.

    Thanks board!

NO way I'm entering the Alienware forum ;)

And of course, a big thanks goes out to our friendly neighbourhood resellers, Justin, Eddie, Sasha, and Donald every once in a while :p
