I have an extremely strange and troubling problem with my V1Jp. Everytime I touch the lid of my laptop, I get noises out of the speakers. If I move my finger nail along the edges, the noise is persistant. I am afraid there must be some loose wires or something, though I find it odd that touching the lid would cause the noise. Is this normal (I extremely doubt this)? If not, do I need to send my laptop in to Asus? I have spring break coming up in two weeks, so that would be a perfect time. Please tell me what you think and what I need to do.

LOL. Wow, sorry for that stupid question... I just figured out what the problem was. My microphone was unmuted! :( I think I'll go hide in a corner now until the laughter subsides. :)

haha. :) a closely placed microphone will echo to the speakers.

It was actually the internal microphone that is placed on the top of the lid near the webcam.
