The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Hello to all!
    I have looked aroud forums for a while and was confused about absence of official NBR Asus userbars thread. Maybe our Mods will create thread, where all users could post their versions of userbars. Alienware and HP sections of NBR forum have userbars thread.
    Hope this thread won't be useless.

    Here's a smaller version. The Previous one was left intentionally big to allow everyone to see the details. It was a template for a sig file, not an actual sigfile itself.

    1. Like your 98C gaming Merit Badge
    2. Your First KB Light Failure due to Bios Merit Badge
    3. Like your "I FUBAR'd my machine trying to flash vBios Merit badge"
    4. "I survived an Asus RMA" merit Badge

    and ofcourse: "I repasted my GPU but now my keyboard won't work" merit badge" ;)

    Did you use Photoshop or a program? I used to have a program to make userbars but don't remember the name, so I have to use Photoshop.

    Yes I am using program Amitysource userbar generator. I am on shift now. Here in the field we have very limited intenet speed. So ,i cant even download photoshop.

    You can make them with Photoshop, GIMP, or any image editing program, or you can ask someone else who has more experience if they'll make one for you. Mine is old school.

    Right click the image, get the image's location, and use the Add Image tool (provides code before and after the images location, so it looks like [IMG ]imagelocation.com[/IMG ] without the spaces).
