On the G50V series, is it ok to leave the performance in the DirectConsole2 set to Turbo or Turbo Extreme? Should I only turn it on when I'm going to game and leave it in normal otherwise?

Also, is it ok to uninstall the Asus CopyProtect? I've been getting an 'aspg.exe' error a few times and have seen that its linked to that program.

    Thanks

Turbo/Extreme will lock your cpu at higher clock frequencies, which is going to make things a lot hotter because the voltage use is greater. I would limit your usage of this.

Certainly leave it in a normal, speedstepping profile when you're not gaming!! The CPU is most often idle during desktop work/web surfing, and it's pointless to stress it (together with the cooling system) by unnecessarily pushing up the speed.
