As the title says, what do you think is the oldest possible Windows version I can run on my V1s?
I want to play som old dos-games I just found, and yes, I know I could use DOS-box, but Windows 3.1 would have been SOOOO much cooler ^^
Or maybe I can boot straight into DOS?

Do you think I will be able to get Win98 up and running with sound and so on?

Agreed. Just run XP, or, since you've already paid for it, Vista, and use emulator software for the rest.

I hardly believe you will find Win98 drivers for your hardware...

If the oldest possible Windows that can run on V1S, i think it is Windows 98. The drivers in Windows XP and 98 based on the same standard (WDM?), so the devices should run in 98.
