I had tried omega cat 5.7 drivers and found they reduced fps drastically in cs. I reverted to stock and it shot back up. I was just wondering if others had any similar experiances or if this may be an issue of needing to change some specific settings with omega drivers.

Also in general which do ppl feel is better?

which version of the omega drivers did you use? I've heard that omega 5.7's actually hurt gaming performance while increasing benchmarking performance. I've also heard of and experience stability problems with omega 5.7s.

I had a lot of trouble with omega's on my M6...everytime I used em (actually it was when I tried to upgrade em problems occured) my computer would get bsod and I had to replace the m/b...but that seemed to have only happend to me. Thus I have always used stock since...the funny thing was that the stocks performed better in games and were more stable.

Actually looking back it was 5.6 omega... I tried them again and the fps on cs stayed at ok levels... im now looking into chaning to 5.7 but maybe not if it may be worse as mekken describes... any other experiances. I think i will stick with 5.7 stock, they seem more reliable, or at least till omega perfects em... any other opinions?
