One of the rubber feet on my z81sp does not reach the ground, is this bad?

One of the rubber feet on the bottom of the computer is slightly shorter than the rest and so my laptop does not touch the ground in the front right corner. Will having one area of the computer unsupported put unwanted stress on the chassis and other parts of the notebook? Every now and then my I hear my notebook snap and creak and I don't know if it's caused by one of the inner components or instability.

Noise is probably from chassis frame stress as you're typing on it or otherwise applying pressure; everything inside is screwed down together, so there shouldn't be any asymmetric transmitted internal stresses.

Solution is to either put a piece of cloth/paper towel etc under the short piece, or glue something onto the short one to bring the heights more into alignment.
