hi, is there any way to detemine when the z70v is running on batteries by checking the leds, cause it turns on the same leds when AC and DC (the green one).

I read in other forums that there is a possibility to reprogram this (making the orange one to turn on with battery operation). Does somebody knows how to do this??

green indicated AC/DC, red indicates charging, flashing red indicates battery low... i this is quite resonable. However, if you need to know if you're running on battery, just look at the lower right part of your screen (system tray) and if you see a battery, you're running on battery (hovering your mouse over it will also tell you how long you have).
