    Hi,

I pretty much decided on getting either a Z70VA or a W3V...but one last thing I'm looking at before I make my decision is the screens.

Do they use different screen types? What I mean is...does the Z70VA use a Color Shine (glaretype) LCD like the W3V? And also...which would have a better viewing angle?

The reason I ask is because after I get it, my girlfriend is probably going to borrow (take :( ) my laptop to watch DVDs.

The W3v uses a glaretype (color shine) screen - the Z70va is a matte type.

Horizontal (side to side) all the systems have about equal viewing angles....
Vertical (up and down) the large Z70va would be slightly better.

So.. basically you want to get a system that won't play dvd's well so she won't have to steal it, right? :) ......... the bigger screen and speakers on the Z70va is going to be better for DVD watching as a "couple" but no one has yet been able to tear the W3v out of my hands in about 7 months now.....

Can't go wrong with either, but screen size and type are important personal preferences you need to decide for yourself.
