    Anyone know of a way to know which graphics chip Optimus is using at any given time?

    That would be helpful. Thanks.

    NOTE: I own the U30Jc, but this question relates to anyone with an Optimus-driven system (which aren't many at this given time).

    .... Oh, for that " nVIDIA Test Tool" desktop gadget they gave to the reviewers to use! :yes:

    I found at least a usable answer. GPU-Z. If it is launched when the discrete chip is running, it will see both GPU's. Then with it on, any time the NIVIDA discrete GPU goes OFF, the NVIDIA GPU load under the "Sensors" tab will show 0% load.
