Ordered a G1S-A1 from NCIX.com?

Hey guys! I really dont know if this is the right section for asking this question so excuse me if its not, but its concerning a G1S. So Yes! I finally ordered my G1S-A1 from NCIX.com (with 2 bonus gifts; another carrying bag and the corel software thingy lol anyways) and I sent my certified cheque yesterday. They are going to receive the money tomorrow, wednesday the 29th and someone form the forum on NCIX.com told me they were going to do payment processing tomorrow when they receive it and ship it tomorow also (if they dont have too much orders to process). The question is (Yes im getting there 23423424 words later haha), well I live in a city very close to Quebec City (in Canada) so its just like close to a big city. Im wondering how much time do you guys think it'll take for them to ship it and in how many days I should receive it? If there people from Quebec Id like to hear from you guys and also any other people (=

P.S.: I now next monday is not considered to be a business day cause its like holiday haha...damn it

As for shipping, it should take 2-5 days max. I've ordered tons of things from NCIX and their basic shipping is Purolator ground which is pretty quick. I've gotten sticks of RAM within 4 days of clicking the purchase button.

 

Yeah! I know! Ncix already dropped the price from 100$ + Asus made a mail-in rebate of 100$ so I get like a 200$ rebate haha Awsome! and two extra bonus thingys haha Love that.

Well I still have a question though. I chose the Express Shipping method but I dont know if thats ground shipping or air shipping (which is faster)? Do you gusy have an idea?

Some uy told me I could get it on friday That'd be awsome but begining of next week would still rock since Ive been waiting for it for 3 months now haha

Nono, Purolator's been great, they get packages from warehouse to warehouse across the country fast, but they often put packages together(that are often too large) so delivering is also slow. As well, Canada Post owns Purolator so sometimes Purolator packages are delivered through Canada Post, and we only get mail 3-4 times a week.

 

Oh but I get mail everyday? And I was told they would knock on my appartment door to give me the package, is that right?

 

Yeap, they would knock and see if anyones home. If not, they leave it at the closest Purolator or Canada Post and you pick it up from there.

 

Oh snap! You can believe Ill be here waiting on friday or my mom will be for me (cause Im in college) haha

I think Purolator will givem e a tracking number and a date of delivery, right? So I can make sure im not waiting for nothing on friday if its going to be delivreder next week hahaha

 

They probably will but they're often slow to put on the system. Usually you get the package before it goes into the database.

 

Oh! haha So how do you know what day it'll be delivered to you then if they dont tell you by email?

 

They don't really, it depends on Purolator's speed of delivery. Once NCIX gives the package to Purolator, NCIX has no control.
