Ordered an Asus A8Js

MilestonePC shipped it on Tuesday with UPS ground from CA to NY. Do you think I can get this on Friday? UPS tracking shows that I will receive it on Tuesday. Any luck for Friday?

 

I ordered mine on Tuesday night and am quite anxious as well!

My guess is you will be into next week before you get it as UPS is pretty darn good as for it's estimates of delivery.

I will be programming DirectX with this laptop. It was the best (price performance wise) portable laptop with a decent gfx card. UPS still did not update anything on the tracking page. It still shows it in California. Now I regret that I did not chose 3 day.

 

'Decent'?! It's by far the best you can get on a 15.4" laptop!

Speaking of graphics cards and DirectX, I think I might as well wait a few/several months for Vista to be rolled out, closely followed by DirectX 10 compatible GPUs.

I think it is also the buffest card available for the 15.4" as well (considering the pending release of the GP1).

 

Yes, that's right the Go 7700 in the A8js should pretty much match up to the ASUS G1P and its 7700.

People would call the G1P to be the 15.4" version of the A8js.

Both laptops offer GREAT performance compared to others.

By the way, lol, your laptops will come, lol, everyone gets anxious to recieve, so do i when they get shipped to us. hehe

 

Usually for CA to NY by UPS ground will be 5 business days, my estimate should be quite accurate because we ship a lot to NY, it should always this long.

Off topic: more than 20% of our orders are from NY, less than 10% of our orders are from CA, this should be because we are in CA, people don't want to pay CA tax, so they buy from other states, I don't believe CA has less purchasing power than NY. For this reason, to get more orders from CA, I am thinking to open a new company in NY area to get more CA orders.

I bought mine from Btotech in ny to avoid sales tax, and because of the huge discount eddie gave me.
