    Ordered my A8Jm. Should be getting it by thursday!

    Just ordered my A8Jm from NCIX (a vendor from Vancouver, Canada) for $1729 CDN. Will be getting it likely this Thursday, latest Friday. I can't wait! I hate the 14% tax though :mad:

    I hope it won't dissappointment me. A little nervous being the first group on the bandwagon. Hopefully there won't be any major issues/problems.

    No. It's 14% tax. I actually know a friend who works for NCIX. So i'm actually getting it for $1679 CDN. With Tax, it's $1914.06 CDN. I hate the tax.

    hrmm doubt itll arrive then. NCIX took forever last notebook i ordered, was never "in stock" litearlly took 3 weeks

    Nope, it'll be there. I live in Vancouver so I'm picking it up. They have it in stock as well. But i prefer purchasing it locally than through milestonepc

    Yep. I can't wait! Very bad timing though. Got a huge exam coming up next Wednesday, but I'm the impatient type. I can't wait until after the exam.

    It used to be 14.5% tax... but it went back down to 14% a while ago. :)
    Still, 14% is a lot... 7% Provincial + 7% GST :(

    ahaha...i could see the expression of the fedex guy's face with someone else sitting on the porch eager for a package delivery. Usually ppl aren't even home for deliveries.

    Just got mine on Friday. I ordered on Newegg.com. They quickly went out of stock, and now they've removed the A8jm from their site. Very weird.

    Haven't really had much time to play with it yet, but I was able to run 3DMark 2005. It pulled in a score of 3806. Not bad considering I haven't turned off/unistalled any of the bloatware.
