although it's gonna take quite a while for me to get it (26th)... apparently all the units from the first (few?) batch(es) are all taken up, and now i need to wait for asus to finish building them and ship them out...

but! apparently i'll get it with vista home premium preinstalled... actually i dunno if that's a good or bad thing... it would be cool to be one of the first to use the official release... but wot do u guys think it'll do to the batt life? i wonder how much more GPU powa it takes up doing just normal tasks...

can't wait!

Congratulations! I'm sure you'll love it. If I were buying a notebook today, the G1p would be the one to beat I think.

Congratz! Good to hear that you will be one of the first to use Vista on a G1

For the most part expect roughly 3 hours of battery life, but you may be able to squeeze more depending on your settings you use. As you know the GPU downclocks when you change the P4G setting, so that will save your battery a little more.
