I was trying to push the m50vn I recently bought with a program called GPU Caps Viewer, noticing that temperatures always stabilized around 60C.

My question is, what are your advice about a possible minor overclock of the card? Too dangerous? Voids warrenty?

voids warranty, will shorten the lifespan of the card, can be dangerous if done improperly. so make sure you follow the various guides around here.

Actually, it is unclear whether it voids warranty (especially since it is difficult to prove that the card has been overclocked unless it is done via VBIOS mod).

But the other points are indeed quite valid and should be taken into account. Definitely do your research before you go into this.
