When i didn't overclock my laptop it got around 10000 but when i did using setFSB ad EVGA precision my score went down to 6k? lol I'm wondering why.

Also would it be beneficial to my laptop to put a T9900 in it? Cause i'd like some desktop like power and portability.

Go for a p-series laptop (lower voltage) and overclock it. It'll get performance better than (or equal, at least!) for much cheaper ... and probably cooler too! (or go for a Core2Quad).

But the difference between the p8700 or t9600 up to t9900 isn't that great.

How are your load temps? Overclocking can cause overheating and when that happens, your GPU and/or CPU will downclock itself to prevent damage. If you're hitting 105C on your GPU, try take your OCing down a couple notches.

How high are you trying to OC it?
Not all CPU's OC at the same level, you have to bump it gradually to see what a safe level is for your CPU.
A T9900 works beautifully with the G60VX, using Power4Gear bumps it up to 3.4Ghz and I get about 12500 in 3DMARK06.

Nice, it's a bit expensive (T9900) i hook up to a huge external 1920x1080p monitor. And yeah i think i'm going to get the E8335 i have worked on many desktops but how hard is it to switch this CPU in here?

    Not hard at all.
Just get some good quality thermal paste and it's a straight forward swap.
Just be careful with the heatsink, it requires some wiggling to remove.

It is a little intimidating at first.
One more thing the screws around the CPU and GPU are numbered take them off in reverse order and when re-installing put them 1,2,3 etc, etc.
    Good luck!
Oh yeah, don't forget to repaste the GPU, it helps a lot with the temps.
