I tried a few times to get an answer to this issue in a few threads, some of which I started, some of which I have read, but never really got a clear answer... so I think this one deserve its own thread.

I think some people have the same issue with the G50 serie. here it goes.

    G1Sn : T7500, 4 Gb DDR2 (Either 667mhz or 800mhz, I tried both), 9500m GS DDR2 512Mb.

Did anyone had success overclocking BOTH the FSB and the GPU at the same time?

Tools used to overclock : Rivatuner and SetFSB (PLL : ICS9LPR363DGLF ), both latest versions. RMClock is also used to undervolt, but also tried on standard voltage. (Also tried without RMClock). OS is Vista x64. Latest DOX Drivers.

I can overclock the GPU fine (675, 1500, 480 IIRC), but as soon as I overclock the FSB with an overclocked GPU, run 3DMark06 :

    - I get a "nvlddmkm stopped responding" message. Sometimes, it goes BSOD, but most of the time, I get the nvlddmkm message.
    - Also, in the even log, I get a "pcibus.sys" not being compatible or something like that.
    - And an ENTECH64 service not running (3DMark06 : but I doubt this has to do with anything)

Before I got my motherboard replaced, I was able to do both without a problem.

Any pointer or solution before I decided to sell my G1Sn? I remember a thread were someone got to overclock his G1Sn but never got an answer back from the OP or posters of this thread.

    Thanks.

Will do. I tried a few PLL at random... didn't work.

I am surprised though that I should have to change PLL. Aren't the G1S and G1Sn sharing the same motherboard?

the pll clock generator is independent from the motherboard. the chip is whatever the manufacturer puts in, so even the same motherboard can have different pll chips (which is why i suggested the working g50 one).

    Doesn't the G1Sn have Intel 965PM express and g50v has PM45 express ?

    I can officially say the G1Sn has 965PM... i don't know about the G50V.
