I have been checking out lots of sites for an Asus M6N notebook. Almost universaly the site report a 1 year warantee with the option to buy another 2 or 3 years warantee. Since the Asus site says that all their machines come with an automatic 2 year international warantee isn't this a little bit of a scam?

Since I am purchasing the unit with a credit card which extends the warantee by a year I would probably not buy it.
