    Hey everyone,

I've heard alot of different answers on this topic, but maybe someone here can put the question to rest for me.

What size mini PCIE wifi card will fit in the G51j-a1? Is it true that it will only take a half-mini PCIE card?

Answers from owners especially appreciated :D

There looks to be quite a bit of space in the compartment. Do you suppose one might be able to fashion a bracket to mount a full size mini pcie card?

I'm dying waiting for my g51 to arrive :twitchy:

Based on the actual amount of space inside of the laptop I would guess that even if you would fabricate a bracket that could house the full sized card, due to the shape of the chassis inside you would run out of room. The curve of the inside area where the wires are hidden would cut you just short of the space you need for the bracket and the card. And really, unless it was done for fun it really wouldn't be worth it. I mean the half sized mini card isn't sold for all that much anyway.
