    Does anybody know where to get these dual PCMCIA slots

    I don't quite understand the question. Does the laptop has dual slots? Otherwise I don't see how you could add them -- are there PCMCIA external slots? It would make little sense (one could just use USB)

    it has a dual slot but damaged so I need some replacement parts

    Ok, there is the ASUS estore but unless you have a friend in the US that won't work since they only ship to US. Some resellers around this forum sometimes have ASUS parts.

    Another option is to go to a local ASUS reseller in Austria, and try to order the parts. It will be slow and expensive, though, even if they are able to order it.

    NL in your Profile does´t stand for Netherlans? - My problem is ther is no reseller in Austria since NDS has gone bakrupt in aprox 2004/2005

    Yep I'm in the Netherlands, there is an ASUS reseller across my street where I am able to order certain components (for a huge price and with huge delivery times, though).

    You might call the ASUS service # in your country and ask whether you can't order from them. But probably they'd ask you to send the computer in and pay the extra 70EUR service fee.

    There is no servicepoint in Austria we have to deliver to Germany or the Netherlands but I only need those slots. To replace is not the problem
