PROPortable Holiday Mobile Giveaway

So from what I have heard, the giveaway was pretty bad. There wasn't much turnout and a lot of people didn't really read the rules. What happened Asus Forum and NBR? Why weren't more people interested? Did it make sense to people? The photo contest was a lot of fun, was it just not interesting to everyone? I know I had fun with it, I was just curious about everyone else...any input? Thanks.

I was totally going to do the contest, I had a great idea and everything, but as soon as finals ended I went on vacation that lasted until Jan 2 and the only computer I had access to was a P3 with 256MB memory, insufficient for running photoshop.

I do hope to participate next year.

 

Heh I hate using photoshop.

It goes back to my days working at kinkos.

Nothing fun about it to me.

I love contests though. If there were a free give away I would have entered.

Well, you don't really need photoshop, in fact you could take a picture with a camera and upload it directly and still win. Should have been fun just working with logo placement or something like that.

 

Kinda didn't get what I had to do.

 

i have also submitted my own entry.. it will GO AHEAD right??? it should be for I have work hard on my entry.. So what happened??? I thought last submission day was on the 5th

I was roughly in the same position as Ricer.

I had an idea, but then I just wanted to relax and game game game, and chill with friends, before you know it, school starts! LOL. I spent like 30 minutes reading the rules and stuff, but I had to re-read it a couple of time to figure out what is going on.

Maybe next time I will participate in it, sure looks like fun!

I have waited so long for this.. what is with the delay??? Anyways, I just wish it was not postponed besides There are some paticipants. Anyways, im still excited and I will wait...

 

Well, as of the deadline there were very few entries, roughly 12, so, that doesn't make for much of a contest. Hopefully there will be more entries coming.

 

What are we supposed to do?

 

I'll have mine in late next week. Tough for us family guys around the holidays to get much of this kinda stuff done. Good idea extending the deadline.

 

what's with the delay? Well you can thank people that can't read the instructions........ It's been so bad that I asked a bunch of random people to read the contest page and explain to me what they needed to do and everyone of them understood it. I'm not sure what happened, but a lot of people wanted to enter, but they simply misunderstood the intent and although we'll still count their entries towards the random R2h drawing, we have only like a dozen physical pictures for the judged portion...... that's not even enough to vote on... it's simply pathic. For those that already sent their entries in, I thank you, but for the sake of competition, we extended it so that there is at least some sort of fun involved in the judged section on NBR. Also, those that already have entries in should feel confidient as those with proper entries all seemed pretty nice. We'd just like to see a little more competition as we can't put 12 entries up for 3 awards....
