Hi all. I don't know if I should post this here or not, but here it goes.

Lately, when I go to unlock my ASUS W3V the password box, cell, line or whatever you call it is completely filled with dots. It is almost like someone was holding down a key in the password line. I know that no one is goofing with me though. I tried to delete the "password" but it is long. Somehow my password line is getting filled up when my computer is locked. It kinda spooks me to be honest. Any idea what they heck is going on? I have run several spyware scans and AV. Thanks for any help.

I'm guessing a key is depressed on your keyboard, and so the program sees a character being entered until the text box doesn't let it enter any more of that character.

Don't be spooked :) Sounds like a stuck keyboard key to me, clean your keyboard with compressed air and see what happens!

Sorry for the slow response. I don't any bluetooth devises or use a wireless keyboard. Just an USB wireless mouse at times.

I don't think any keys are sticky but maybe one is. The whole thing baffles me. Oh well. I was/am worried that it is some crazy virus or spyware.
