    Hello,

I am buying a new laptop and have settled on the Asus G1S - A1. But everywhere I can find it (except BestBuy, which I have already read the thread on these forums about BB) it is sold out. NewEgg was supposed to get some more in on the 1rst, but that date has been pushed to the 15th. I honestly don't know much about places to buy stuff off the internet from (ie trustworthy sites). I have boughten stuff from NewEgg before and I also know TigerDirect is a good source.

I was basically just wondering if anyone else has a website that they've boughten anything from (especially if you bought a G1S-A1). I don't really want to wait til the 15th.

    Thank you,
    A

Most people are going to be sold out of the A1 because it's been pretty much replaced by the B2.

Hey sorry to semi hijack this thread, but it's related to purchasing the G1S A1.....

I've found someone selling this laptop in good condition and has only been used for ~3 months. He's currently selling it for $1500 Canadian.

Anyone have any opinions on this price? Is it a good deal? Do you think I can haggle the price down a little more?

You can get a new A1 for 1500 US, maybe even less. Thats a pretty crappy price.

May I ask for a link to somewhere where I can get a A1 for 1500?

I tried Gentech and they only sell B1s and B2s now..... and those are kinda out of my budget when tax is added.

Sorry, I guess all the places are OOS now. Last month, I remember there being multiple places where you could get the G1S for $1500, give or take $100.
