    Hi,

Does anyone have the plastic slot for the CD/DVD bay for the M3n/M3np kicking around that they could send me (I'd pay for shipping of course). I live in Vancouver, B.C. I currently don't have an optical drive, so there's a hole in the side of my laptop.

Isn't it supposed to come with an optical battery bay?
My M6Ne came with one.. and I use it occasionally when I want my lappy just a tad bit lighter.
Odd... I thought they came with one default.

Aurora: Your m6n come with a travelers drawer that you can use if you didnt get the optical drive. The m3n on the other hand does not. Not to offend anyone but common sence works something like this.
    1. If notebook has modular bay and notebook has optional optical drive which slides into optical bay then notebook just may have something to cover the modular bay in case optical drive is not there.
Moral of the story here the m3n does not have a cover for the optical drive bay. You would need to purchase either a second hdd, a optical battery or the optical drive so it is covered. Since you didnt buy either your optical bay is not covered.
