    Broken key cap-hinge.JPG

    Hi There; Boys and Girls
I have a problem which, I hope you will be able to help me with!
My brother has purchased this brand new Asus TaiChi21-CW011P with the Italian keyboard layout (from Italy, through eBay!), only last month! He has already managed to break one of its keyboard's key cap and the hinge!

Since this is a self induced damage, Asus wouldn't replace the broken key cap and the hinge as part of the manufacturer's warranty scheme! (fair enough)! What's more, they have indicated that, the repair cost would be over £150 (taking into account the collection and return fees)!

We have been searching the net for the spare part and the replacement keyboard suppliers for several days now, albeit, unsuccessfully! It seems that, they have all the keys and keyboards in stock, except for the one which I am after! (Sod's Law)!
I have attached an image of the keyboard and the broken key, just in case one of you the nice people on the forum could / would put me on the right track in my hunt for the replacement key / keyboard! Please don't tell me pay the Asus to do the honors!
    Thanking you in advance
    Sha.
