hi,
i have an asus X540SA and all of a sudden its saying plugged in not charging. i have contacted asus 3 times, once by email and twice by phone ( 1 888 678 3688 ) which on a side note is said to be a canadian number but im not to sure of that but back to the topic at hand the gentleman (who was a very nice and personable man ill give him that) walked me thrrough how to resolve the issue but it never totally fixed it it just fixed it for litterally about an hour or two then it did it again
a day later i contacted them for the second phone call and the lady i spoke with told me that i would have to reset the whole thing and it would FOR SURE lose ALL of my data, well i am currently in school and cant risk to lose all of my data. she said then you'll have to send it in for servicing to Asus at a cost, or bring it to a local if your out of warranty. but heres the kicker in all of the terms and services of doing that they say they are not respsonible for lose of data. i dont have an external harddrive and dont really wanna spend the money on one at this point.
is there another way to fix the issue and has any one had the issue before?
i tried deleting the Battery CPU stuff in the device manager setting
Plugged in not charging
