Hello. A little over 2 weeks ago I bought a G50VT-X1. Wonderful unit.

On Friday I installed Ubuntu 8.10 (64-bit) on it. Then Virtualbox 2.14.

Last night I started having problems with the DVD drive not reading install discs any longer; it would start to work but then act as if no drive was in the computer.

This morning I found an external Toshiba DVD-ROM drive and it is working without a single hiccup.

Where can I buy a replacement drive?

    Thanks!
