This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Hey Guys,

    Ken just posted a new bios that supposedly corrects the G51J BSOD issue. A couple of members have tried it, and preliminary reports are looking good. I created a thread so this info would get quick exposure. Perhaps this could be made a 'sticky'?

    For those who have missed this, here is what Ken had to say in the BSOD, Part 2 thread:

    Anyhow, Ken has been working hard on this issue with Asus, so please report your findings to him...... good or bad, so he can relay compiled findings to Asus.
