Hey fellas, I am running on an Asus EEE 1000HA (160GB HDD, Windows XP, 2GB RAM, etc. etc.) It was very disappointing when my EEE could not smoothly play HD quality content on youtube (frame skips). I was thinking maybe I could perhaps overclock the 1000HA to a safe clock speed? Any thoughts?

Try using Eeectl. I've used it to overclock numerous EeePCs, and it should work on the 1000HA.

It will differ between every CPU since not all CPUs are made equal. You may get a 30% overclock or a 5% OC might give you instant BSODs.
