The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

I have been following a thread where a number of individuals including myself had been expressing concern about asus's practice of installing Lightscribe software on laptops that do not have Lightscribe enabled drives.
This is very missleading and makes purchasers who demo the laptops in stores think they are lightscribe enabled.
It appears this thread has been deleted for some reason - just curious why?

    And your post? ;)

Judging by the second to last post @ "Today, 06:08 AM (PDT)", it fell halfway down the "second" page of the ASUS forum. -- 'Subscribe to this Thread' is your friend ;)

    Cheers,
    Kermee

All I did was look through your previous posts, haha. The post you made in that thread was the last post you made before this thread.

The ASUS forum is always busy, so threads can hop from 1st page to 3rd page pretty quickly in a few hours.
