Just recieved my w3j and I'm very impressed. It was a headache to get my hands on one of these but it was definitally worth it. Screen looks great, booted up no problems, lightening fast wireless connect time....

    A+

    Scratch that....

Right as I pressed post my finger tracker become un-responsive...

I boot up the computer and the finger tracker works for about 10 seconds and goes completely unresponsive again.

Sooo I guess I should try to use the recovery CD the first half hour of having the laptop? not so awesome.

I know this sounds simple, but before you dig out the recovery CD..... cycling the touchpad en/disable hotkey button doesn't resolve the issue?

Then disbale it! Go to start>run and type msconfig, in the last tab untick anything synaptic related. If that doesnt work uninstall it. I use my laptop trackpad without the syaptic drivers and its fine.
