    Just curious what power inverters you guys use for your car? I.E. Brand; Power Wattage

    If you do not use one from the manufacturer I would advise buying one that has a Pure sinewave out put. Most of the cheaper ones have a modifed square wave output that can damage your power supply or possibly your computer.

    I'm not convinced about this. Do UPSs provide a pure sinewave output? Not normally, but there are millions of computers around the world getting their power from UPSs. Modern electronic power supplies are very tolerant of the quality of the input power - the 100V to 250V rating is one aspect.
