Is the percentage for CPU performance in some of those profiles adjustable? I've tried setting Quiet Office's CPU performance to 50% but everytime it just resets back to 100%.

Or will I have to resort to something like NHC?

When using your laptop with AC power, you cannot set CPU performance. Here you can only set video off timer and stand by timer. There are 3 profiles that can be used with AC power, Super Performance, High performance and Game.

But if you're running on batteries, then you'll be able to set CPU performance for every profile.

Also, try searching the web for an updated version of Power4Gear. There's one somewhere with improved and more clear display.

My office mode keeps my CPU set at 100% for some reason. What versin of P4G are you using? Is there even any way of checking?

I think this is what you mean: http://power4gear.bk-kicks.com/p4g.htm
Its just a nice UI over the asus program, but it does look much cleaner. Works well on my computer.

Yes, I think it's that one.

I don't know why, but yesterdar my computer turned back to the original power4gear provided by Asus... it's like it uninstalled the other one...

Maybe it's time for the first clean format... and installing only what I use, not every beta version to test!!

Almost a software issue cannot be figured out, the best way is to have a clean format and fresh installation of Windows. Before installing the application, test it first, make sure that it can work.
