I seem to be having a little bit of problem with Power4Gear. When I have my w3v plugged in and set it to Super Performance, the brightness of the screen drops down to 50%. Power4Gear doesn't let me adjust the brightness of the screen on the Super/High Performance settings unfortunately, so I don't know that's wrong.

I believe its because you get the screen to 50% on Super before, then you switched to another setting. I recall doing something similiar myself.

Try manually setting the brightness back to max, and switch settings. Then try switching back to see if it fixed itself.

Yep I agree, same thing happens to me...I think p4g is just abit too smart for itself sometimes....just manually set screen back to high, only takes a second!

    :D

Well, sometimes I'm too lazy to hit fn+f6 hehehe...

I wish Asus let us make more profiles for Power4Gear and that they could let us customize the all the settings for each profile. As it stands now, you can only customize the screen brightness when the laptop is on battery mode (makes sense) but there should be the option to have a screen brightness configuration even if the laptop is plugged in.

Yea, but a person who modded Power4Gear and HControl, his site is http://power4gear.bk-kicks.com/

In his 'to do list', it is to have POwer4Gear fully customizable I believe :)

Yeup. If you manually set it to max it will remember it on Max Performance for next time, but if you have it lower on a different setting during battery mode or something like that it will stay at that brightness.

****py, but it still works alright.

    Cheers,
    Mike
